The Northwest Paper Chase
Wednesday March 24th was the 2nd annual Northwest Paper Chase. We have 2 weeks to visit Scrapbooking stores from Port Townsend to Edmonds. There are 28 scrapbook stores who participate. You pick your route and go from there! We visited 7 stores, and at each one you get your passport stamped and get a 20% discount if you purchased the collectors pin (which of course we did). If you visit 14 out of the 28 stores and return your Passport to your Home Store you are entered into a drawing for lots of wonderful prizes!
We had a great time. Yes, we were tired by the time we got home but we were eladed with all the many wonderful papers, brads and embellishments that we came home with . We loved all the great ideas and met lots of other scrappers. One gal we met actually was always just behind us with her friend. She was very nice, always willing take our picture, and we did the same for her.
Thanks girls for a fun filled day. Can't wait for next years Northwest Paper Chase!

My newest find
A friend of a friend makes these beautiful handmade purses. I fell in love with this one. She had so many to choose from, it was hard to pick one. I thought it would be perfect for Vegas.

The End of an Era
Yesterday we recieved the Seattle PI for the last time..........So sad to see something end that has been around for almost 150 years. One of the articles read "Online switch marks the start of a new era". We will be able to view the paper online, how weird will that be! It is the sign of the times. Speaking of times, they will be delivering the Seattle Times as a replacement, until that one shuts down?
Mike mentioned that this last edition (collectors edition) was selling for $30.00 on e-bay. I think we'll keep ours. :)
