What I thought was going to be a day spent with my mom after taking her to the doctors office for her cancer treatment turned out different! Because of the type of treatment she is given, it requires for her to lie down afterwards. I was hoping we could have coffee at Starbucks and do some shopping at the Mall. That's ok though. I told her we would do "our day" another time. This is her second treatment and my first time taking her, so I wasn't aware of the details. 2 down.... 4 to go.

We are so blessed to have such a beautiful Grandmother. Even when she's sick she is still so classy and poised.
